Day 4Zero - Psalm 111 (The Message)

It would seem a little disrespectful to write today without considering today's anniversary. And while Psalm 111 doesn't exactly lend itself to profound insight into the event ten years ago, it's still should be pointed out that there could've been so many more people who could've died that day. So when I read verse four, ("His miracles are his memorial— This God of Grace, this God of Love"), I thought what a miracle it was to have less than 3000 deaths (when some have estimated 14,000 could've died.) What a miracle that more damage wasn't done. Some may argue that God could've done a miracle and prevented it all. Don't know why He didn't; However, this event puts quite a bit into perspective (obviously) and is a reminder to embrace every day to its fullest.
