Day 4Seven - Psalm 104
:25 - "Here is the ocean, vast and wide, teeming with life of every kind, both large and small."
I love hearing news reports about marine biologist "discovering" new species in the ocean. When in reality, God placed them there a long, long time ago. And I find it entertaining and mysterious and awesome that we might never know all the creatures in the Earth. But God knows where they are... God knows where to find them. And yet, in the midst of all this, He still can find us and care about us enough to love us unconditionally. Talk about entertaining and mysterious and awesome.

Day 4Six - Psalm 105
:5 - "Remember the wonders he has performed, his miracles, and the rulings he has given..."
This Psalm asks the reader to remember what God has done and then spends the remaining 40 verses or so reminding the reader what God did in Israel. This, to me, serves as a reminder to remember the power of God and that, yes, He did and still does perform miracles. Even though these things are explained earlier in the Old Testament, it is reaffirmed here. Moses simply prayed and God answered with power: from frogs to locust to water coming out a rock. God wanted His people to leave and guess what? They did but not without a fight. So this can also serve as a reminder that God can lead you out of a bad situation but the enemy will most likely put up a fight. So stand firm and continue to pray because if it's apart of God's plan, it'll most likely happen.

Day 4Five - Psalm 106 (The Message)
:44 - "Still, when God saw the trouble they were in and heard their cries for help, He remembered his Covenant with them, and, immense with love, took them by the hand..."
These people kept forgetting how much God took care of them... they complained, moaned and whined when something didn't go right. But yet, God remained faithful. God didn't treat them like whining babies; No, He heard their cries and took them by the hand with His love. I don't know about you, but there are times I think that God won't help me because of the way I acted in the past. But He will always help if I cry out... He will remember... He will continue to chase after me with His love.
