Day Thiry6 - Psalm 115

"Trust the Lord... He is your helper and your shield" is repeated three times in consecutive verses in this Psalm. It doesn't say trust in the Lord; but merely says trust the Lord... Just trust Him... okay, but sometimes, it's easier said than done. We have to trust He is our shield and helper, even when things are crumbling around us. We have to trust that everything will work out for the greater good and His plan. We have to trust that He will bless us. We have to trust... so why does it sometimes seem difficult to do so? After all, this is our lives and dreams we're talking about here... what if God doesn't come through? Fear plays a part in the lack of trust, I suppose. But isn't fear just the opposite of trust? At the end of the day, the hard answer is to tell yourself "Trust the Lord" and yet the easy answer is also, "Trust the Lord."
