Day TwentySeven - Psalm 124

"What if..." There's a little doubt here... even though God did show up, it still reveals human nature's always asked question, "what if..." They kind of freak out at the thought of God not showing up to help them. They realize just how important it was to have God on their side. They could not have done it alone... they were stuck, like a "bird in a hunter's trap" (:7a) and God broke the trap... they were set free. "What if's" are a funny thing... it's not a productive way of thinking because it's hypothetical and the past can't change. But it can sometimes help us realize just how important help (from God) can be.
