Day Twelve - Psalm 139

This Psalm starts with "Oh Lord, You have examined my heart" and ends, 24 verses later, with "point out anything to me that offends You..." He's asking God to search his heart again. The first 20 verses are over-joyous praises to God. But then the Psalmist starts to think about the wicked and wanting them to be removed from his life. So, by the end of the Psalm, he's asking God to re-examine his heart... and all this happened within a 24 verse Psalm. He didn't wait for his conscious to sink in days later... he didn't allow negative thoughts to take root... he needed God to do it right then and there. I suppose that's a bit-o-wisdom.
