Day Five - Psalm 146

:3 "Don't put your confidence in powerful people..."

Okay, simple enough... but I do have to follow "powerful" people (i.e., at work). So how am I supposed to follow someone without having confidence in them? I suppose I can be confident that they are leading me to a productive and otherwise fulfilling goal... but this confidence that the Psalmist refers to isn't asking for earthly confidence. But rather eternal confidence. I can only really be sure that my hope is with God and not planted in man or this earth.
